Hello Charles,
As I read Susanna Clarke’s ‘The Ladies of Grace Adieu’ I thought at first that the beautifully drawn illustrations were done by a hand sharing a time frame with the Doyles or Arthur Rackham. What a nice surprise to know these and other great illustrators are still alive through your hand!
Though I have not been long involved with the world of fantasy/faerie art, I happily visited there through my friendship with Ellen Kushner
When we worked together on her book, ‘The Golden Dreydl'(Charlesbridge, 2007) and this year on her radio play, ‘The Witches of Lublin’.
