After many, many years of wanting to see a calendar that featured my art, its finally here and what a beauty it turned out to be! My good friend, Deni Peterson, under the umbrella of her Blue Door Garden enterprise, has produced a splendid 12 month calendar with seasonal celebrations and many of my favorite artist’s birthdays noted. Locally printed, spiral bound and on heavy, matte paper it is better than I ever hoped for. Strictly limited to 1,000 copies (all of which are signed by myself) it will not be available anywhere but online at our Etsy shop and through in-person appearances.

And, if you’re local to the Abingdon – Bristol VA area I will be hosting an event at The Springhouse in Abingdon on October 17 from 2 – 5pm. The calendar will be available but also my just-off-the-boat book, The Art of Neil Gaiman and Charles Vess’ Stardust. Copies of Honeycomb, various other books, prints and some original art will also be for sale. Food & drink will be available and live jazz music will fill the hall.
