Bookstore Signing 12/10/06

readingposter-w_o-bkstr-cop.jpg

I thought that I’d let you know that this Sunday (12/10/06) I’ll be signing books at Abingdon Virginia’s new, independent bookseller (and coffee/tea shop) Zazzy’Z from 1 until 4 pm. This is part of our Downtown Merchant’s holiday celebrations with shops open and specials flying all the way up and down Abingdon’s Main Street. If you can’t make it and want to phone in a book order for my signature here’s their phone number 276-698-3333. Copies of many of my books will be on hand as well as a limited supply of several out of print editions. There’s absolutely no limit to my signatures.

See you all there!

Charles

  1. Charles,

Is your “Reading is an Adventure Worth Sharing” image available as a print or poster somewhere? It would look great hanging in my wife’s classroom.

  2. Shadowguy,

Why, yes it is. AND they’re all signed and numbered too. Just make out a check to Green Man Press for $25.00 (which includes S&H) and mail it too: Green Man Press
    152 East Main Street
    Abingdon VA 24210
And I’ll get it right out to you.

  3. “We need myths to get by. We need story; otherwise the tremendous randomness of experience overwhelms us. Story is what penetrates.” — Robert Coover

Feb. 4 is the birthday of the experimental novelist and short-story writer Robert Coover, (books by this author) born in Charles City, Iowa (1932). He’s the author of The Origin of the Brunists (1966), The Universal Baseball Association (1968), The Public Burning (1977), and his most recent book, Child Again, which came out in 2005.
