I’ll be in NYC on May 2 to present a lecture at the Society of Illustrators on the art of the fantastic. The Society houses an amazing collection of work by its founding fathers (Rockwell, Leyendecker, Harvey Dunn, Mead Shaffer, etc.) as well as being THE showcase for contemporary illustration. Needless to say it will be both a thrill and an honor to be there.

The new deluxe reissue of the hardcover edition of Stardust will go on sale that same Wednesday so I’ll be signing at Jim Hanely’s Universe (across from the Empire state Building) on that Friday (May 4th) from 6-8pm.

There are no plans to upload the images and lecture to the web but there does seem to be a bit of interest in perhaps publishing an art book on the survey.
I think that that would be lovely myself.
